About OceanHub

Start with the offshore decision. Build the evidence chain around it.

OceanHub is an emerging offshore decision-intelligence product: it structures real engineering precedents so project teams can trace a decision through uncertainty, evidence, methods, capabilities, deliverables, standards and sources.

Scope a Project

The problem

Offshore evidence crosses organizational and disciplinary boundaries.

Storage assurance, offshore-wind foundations, subsea corridors and environmental consenting rely on observations that are usually acquired, interpreted and delivered by different specialist teams.

The failure mode is not simply “missing technology.” It is a broken handoff between the decision that must be made, the uncertainty that matters, the evidence that can reduce it and the capability that can deliver that evidence.

OceanHub is designed around that handoff. The long-term asset is a structured case and capability graph, not a larger pile of generic articles or vendor listings.

Operating model

Knowledge → Decision → Network

01Knowledge layer

Encode real offshore cases as traceable relationships between project stage, decision, uncertainty, evidence, method, capability, deliverable, standard and source.

02Decision layer

Use the Decision Scoper to assemble an evidence plan from validated reference patterns and expose gaps rather than inventing certainty.

03Network layer

Connect recurring capability gaps to specialist partners and proposed JIPs where collaboration can produce a better shared solution.

Green Offshore Technology Alliance

A collaboration network being built, not a constituted institution being claimed.

The alliance is a forming concept motivated by a practical observation: some offshore capability gaps are better solved through shared field evidence, benchmark methods and Joint Industry Projects than through isolated vendor claims.

OceanHub does not present BGP, Peneson or any other organization as a founding member, sponsor or committed JIP participant unless that relationship is explicitly confirmed.
Explore proposed JIPs

Two ways in

Bring a decision, or bring a capability.

Project teams can start with the Scoper and continue into a structured inquiry. Specialists can show the evidence behind their capability and identify where it fits a proposed workstream.
