PL 1425/2022 proposes rules for permanent or temporary storage of carbon dioxide and its subsequent use. The Federal Senate approved the proposal in committee and sent it to the Chamber of Deputies in September 2023. It is a legislative proposal, not an enacted or currently operative CCS framework.
